Acting Minister of Health Engineer Adel bin Mohammed Faqih launched today, an awareness campaign for the public in the framework of the Ministry's efforts to combat the spread of corona virus that causes the Middle East respiratory syndrome, in order to provide community members with information and instructions necessary to do their part in the fight against the virus. Launched in coordination with the World Health Organization, the campaign aims at encouraging the public to take the necessary precautions to prevent the spread of the virus. The campaign will be promoted during the coming weeks through various communication channels such as video clips and graphics of information files via the website of the Ministry of Health; www.moh.gov.sa, to encourage the public to follow solid health habits like the continuously hands wash with soap and water as well as use of hand sanitizer, avoid touching the eyes, nose and mouth by hand before washing, in addition to taking maximum precautions while dealing with camel's raw meat, liver and no boiled milk.
