Hong Kong's secretary for Food and Health York Chow will attend the Asia-Pacific Economic Co- operation high-level dialogue panel meeting in San Francisco, and deliver a speech on the prevention and control of non-communicable diseases. Chow's visit to San Francisco, as well as New York and Atlanta will start from Sept. 16 to 22, the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region government said on Thursday. Chow will also hold a bilateral meeting with Malaysia's minister of Health Liow Tiong Lai before heading to New York to attend the United Nations meeting on the prevention and control of non-communicable diseases. In Atlanta, Chow will visit the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and discuss the latest developments in the prevention of communicable diseases.
