New Delhi - WAM

The UAE Embassy in New Delhi is supervising the treatment of several injured Yemenis in the city’s Rockland Hospital, as part of the Year of Giving initiative for 2017 in the UAE.

The injured people, due to troubles in their home country, are receiving specialised medical treatment and surgical procedures to help their recovery. Many have recovered and returned to their country, while others are expected to travel within a couple of days.

Dr. Ahmed Abdul Rahman Al Banna, UAE Ambassador to India, accompanied by Huwaideen Al Ketbi, Second Secretary at the embassy, supervised the treatment of the patients by monitoring and visiting them, as well as meeting with the medical team supervising their treatment.

Dr. Al Banna stressed that the UAE and its embassy are supporting the Yemeni people in this critical period, wishing them a speedy recovery.
