Four workers trapped in a tunnel collapse for four days were rescued on Friday morning in southwest China's Yunnan Province, local authorities said.
They were reached by rescuers at about 7:19 a.m. on Friday as a 18.5-meter-long passageway for the trapped workers to escape was completed, according to the rescue headquarters.
Rescuers are still searching for another two missing workers.
The accident happened at about 9:30 a.m. on Monday in Chuxiong City after one of the support arches for the Guangtong-Dali railway renovation project collapsed.
