Egyptian high-profile actress Bosy revealed that she insisted to participate in Alexandria Film Festival, as it was the preferred festival for her husband Nour Al Sharif, saying that the Egyptian actor was keen to participate in this festival every year.
She expressed her pleasure for participating in the refereeing committee of Nour Al Sharif Competition in the framework of Alexandria Film Festival, saying that it was a great opportunity for participating in such important event that enjoys high popularity not only in Egypt but also in the whole world.
She added, in a statement to “Arabs Today”, that she was chosen in the event not only as a wife of Egyptian actor Nour Al Sharif but also as one of the major actresses who have notable experience in this career for years. She stressed that they adopt a number of standards on which they assess the works participating in the competition.
She expressed her pleasure for participating in Alexandria Film Festival, saying that it is considered one of the major festivals in Egypt after Cairo Film Festival. She added that the festival provides great opportunity for exchanging experiences and cultures with other countries on the Mediterranean.
She expressed her appreciation for the festival that pushed her to success since the beginning of her career, stressing her keenness to participate in the most of festivals held whether in Egypt or outside the country.
She described her love story with her departed husband Nour Al Sherif as unprecedented, saying that both work and family dominated his heart. When he was reading a new scenario, she added, or filming her role in any of his works, he was keen to concentrate. He was a very kind father and husband.
She added that when he was young, he was not fearing the death, saying that she lived with for over 35 years and does not feel that he left her. She added that she feels that he is still alive and existed in his office.
She added that the Egyptian actor faced a number of critical positions in his life, saying that when his uncle died, he was filming a movie outside Egypt and when he returned he felt deep sorrow. She underlined his love to Sayeda Zeinab district in which he was raised, stressing that he was keen to contact with the residents of the district.
When the film “Oppressor and Opressed” was presented, she said, the district’s residents praised his performance, saying that he was giving the priority to the fans’ assessment to his works.
