Summaya Al Khashab News of Egyptian actress Summaya Al Khashab’s decision to run for the office of the presidency in Egypt has instigated mockery on numerous internet websites and social networking sites
, like Facebook and YouTube.
According to the internet website MBC.net, Summaya denied rumors that she will make a bid for the presidency, asserting that the thought never even crossed her mind.
Several internet news sources reported that Summaya is preparing for her election campaign for the presidency of Egypt, and had decided to be the first Egyptian woman to enter presidential elections. It was also said that Summaya’s election campaign focused on improving living conditions and decreasing unemployment..
On a different note, Summaya is currently filming the scenes for her upcoming television drama “Wadi Al Mulook” (Valley of Kings) alongside prominent Egyptian actress Sabrine, Majdi Kamil and Riham Abd Al Ghafour. The drama is directed by Husni Saleh. After completing the filming for “Wadi Al Mulook”, Summaya will resume work on another television drama titled “Kayd Al Nisa” (Women’s rage), alongside Fifi Abdo and Salah Abd Allah. The second drama is directed by Ahmad Saqr.
