Tunisian singer Latifa expressed her pleasure for the notable success her latest album achieved, saying that it was a good surprise for her fans in all over the Arab world. She stressed that she received increasing positive reactions for the new album. She added that that she preferred to present a range of songs to compensate her absence from the artistic arena during the latest years.

She added, in a statement to “Arabs Today”, that the new album will contain ten new songs, saying that she will cooperate with a number of poets anc composers from all over the Arab countries. She described the idea to present a new album as a good step.

She added that she plans to present a new song with Tunisian accent and another one in Moroccan accent, saying that the other songs will be in Egyptian accent. She revealed that the new album is scheduled to be presented during Eid Al Adha.

On the other hand, she said that she will return to drama in the near future, saying that she will participate in a new long drama show during the coming days. She added that the new TV drama show contains 60 episodes, while she refused to give more details about the series.

She expressed her happiness of the positive reactions to her new drama show “Secret Word” presented during Ramadan of the last year, stressing that the success of the dramatic work has strongly appeared after its representation after Ramadan. She praised the efforts exerted by the staff.

She added that she received other scenarios of new drama shows, while she refused to appear in any TV series this year and to delay any new experience in this regard until the next year. She denied any desire to appear every year in the dramatic works, saying that she gives priority to singing.

She added, in a statement to “Arabs Today”, that she did not take any drama roles during the recent period as she was preoccupied in the recording of her new album. She added that she works currently to end her new album, saying that she performed a singing duet with Egyptian singer Ahmed Shiba.

She expressed her pleasure of what she presented during her career since its beginning, saying that she managed to achieve notable success during her works which gained notable popularity. She added that she aspires to achieve more success, expressing her appreciation to the role performed by her family to push her forward in her career.

She revealed that her mother and family performed a major role to support her in this career, deny that her art deprived her from her special life.
