Olfat has worked with British director Antoine Cairo - Khaled Ali In an interview with Arabstoday, Egyptian actress Olfat Omar speaks about her upcoming film, Revolution in America which is set to release soon. Expressing her gratitude to Jordanian producer Mohamed al-Malhi for selecting her to play the lead role, Olfat describes the film as a "turning point" in her career. Directed by British filmmaker Michael Antoine, Revolution in America revolves around the Tunisian and Egyptian revolutions from the perspective of Arabs living in America. “Initially I was worried about the prospect of working in an American film, especially as I was playing the lead role” Olfat said, “but I am quite optimistic that the film will be a success. I've had the opportunity to work with such talented people and it has been a great experience." The artist revealed to Arabstoday that she is now in the process of selecting her next Egyptian film role following the completion of Revolution in America, but added that current offers are falling short of her expectations.
