Singer Angham prepares for a new concert

Egyptian singer Angham prepares currently for participating in a new concert in the framework of Arab Music Festival scheduled to be organized during the coming month, saying that she is keen to participate in this festival years ago.

She praised the role performed by the former leader of the festival Ratiba Hefny who bore the responsibility of this festival, stressing that she performed a major role to develop the festival to be one of the major festivals in the Arab world for years. She expressed her pleasure for the success of the concerts in which she participated during the latest days.

She added that she received increasing positive reactions form the fans from all over the Arab world over her performance during the latest concerts in which she participated. She stressed that she gives the priority to the fans, saying that they are considered the driving force who support her to perform well during the different events in which she participates.

She added that she feels proud of her historic career, saying that it is important moment for her when the fans ask her to perform one of old songs. She added that she enjoys a distinct category of fans who realize the importance of her works. She stressed that the Arab world has a large number of talents who are able to keep the great arts, praising the TV programs that underlined those talented artists from all over the Arab countries.

She stressed her keenness to meet the aspirations of her fans, saying that she always attempts to choose her songs carefully. She added that she sang for mother, father, lovers and the country, appreciating the large number of composers and poets with whom she dealt since the beginning of her career.

She added, in a statement to “Arabs Today”, that she could deal with new composers and poets if they managed to prove their talent. She praised the decision to restore the singing parties organized during the Summer, saying that such a step could refresh the artistic move in the country during the coming period.

She added that she does not mind to return to drama, while she still waits the suitable role, saying that she will not participate in any work that could undermine her career as whole. She praised the programs aiming to discover the new talents in the Arab world, stressing the need for supporting the talented people.

She expressed her appreciation to her colleagues, including Hany Shaker, Ali Al Hagar and others who enriched the singing arena with their great works since the beginning of their career, saying that she is keen to follow their works. She added that presented a number of songs with Gulf accent years ago, appreciating the singers from the Gulf States.
