Egyptian official judicial source confirmed that 14,500 judges will supervise the Egyptian presidential elections, which are scheduled to take place on May 23 and 24,  assisted by 65.000 employees of the state administrative system. In a press statement on Tuesday the source said: "The number of sub-committees for elections reached about 13.099, in addition to a judicial committee in each governorate under the chairmanship of the first instance court president." The source pointed out that accommodation and transportation are currently being prepared for the judges who would oversee the elections in various governorates. He explained that the ballot papers are currently being printed and that they are difficult to tamper with, adding that both the armed forces and police will work in coordination for the security of  the headquarters of polling stations, ballot boxes, judges and voters. The judicial source clarified that the voting of expatriot Egyptians will end next Thursday evening, and the sorting operations will be take place on Friday and Saturday inside the headquarters of the committees abroad, in  166 embassies and consulates around the world.
