Under the slogan of "Today’s Census Tomorrow’s Development", the fast counting phase of Ajman Census will commence on Saturday, April 16, to count houses, buildings, economic establishments and families.
Naser Al Dhafri, Head of Media Committee of Ajman Census, appealed to the public to cooperate with the enumerators and facilitate their tasks in order to achieve the desired goals, which will be reflected on quality and diversity of services and all sectors in general. This will enhance the overall and sustainable development of Ajman and allows finding the best health, educational, economic, tourism and infrastructure projects in the emirate, he said.
The committee will launch a promotional campaign targeting the public in Ajman to promote the project and its objectives. It will conduct contests and distribute brochures with presence of the cartoon enumerator "Addad", along with stages for photographing and gifts distribution.
Al Dhafri noted that the campaign will cover parks of Safia, Mishref, Rashidiya and Al Hilow, Marina Walk, shopping centers and China Mall.
He stressed keenness of the committee to harness all efforts to ensure the project success and achieve maximum satisfaction of the community. The enumerators received professional training to finish the assigned missions at the highest possible quality with forms of high accuracy and quality. He further pointed to availability of self-count option for all segments of the society.
It ensures flexibility to fill out the data online at any time through generated accounts for the families to access the self-counting service, Al Dhafri added.
He again called on all members of the society to provide accurate and correct data to help the government to establish a comprehensive database of the emirate’s population, and the residential, commercial, industrial and service facilities. The cooperation and interaction is a national and social duty that should be fulfilled by everyone in the emirate, he said.
