Hamas leader, Salah Al-Bardaweel, has denied that Hamas made a final decision to move to the Bahraini capital, Manama, instead of Damascus in the light of the current events in Syria, and he confirmed that the movement didn’t think of moving and wasn’t asked to leave the country. Al-Bardaweel denied what was said in the Lebanese media, on Monday, that Hamas is studying the possibility to move from Damascus to Manama after the failure attempts to move to Cairo and Jordan. He said: "It is not true, and we haven’t decided to move our offices from Damascus to any other Arab capital, whether Manama or Amman, we don’t interfere in the internal affairs, all what have been said are rumors.” Lebanese newspaper "Al Lewaa" has published a story on Monday, quoting Palestinian sources saying that "the leadership of the movement" Hamas "has taken a decision to move its offices from Damascus to the Bahraini capital, Manama, The reports said that Hamas movement denies the moving plan in order to avoid clashes with the Syrian leadership, but the decision was made and will be implemented in stages.”
