Al-Jubouri: "Iraq cannot be divided"

Head of Iraqi parliament, Salim Al-Jubouri said during “Turkmen future in a unified Iraq” conference that was held in Baghdad with the attendance of number of politicians such as, president of the Iraqi National Coalition Ammar al-Hakim, Turkmen personalities and the representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations in Iraq Jan Kubic that, no one is against any law stated by the constitution, but all of the government bodies will work hard to prevent any harm that can divide Iraq, the idea of turning Iraq into small states to serve some people personal interest is completely denied.
Al-Jubouri said that, Iraq is a whole that can’t be divided, and no one will give up any inch of the Iraqi land in favor of foreign aggressive projects at any cost. He added that, the Turkmen people always lived in Iraq, and many of them still consider it their homeland, and it is their legitimate right to participate in Iraq’s leadership and decisions without any discrimination.
