The president of the Algerian National Assembly, Abdul Kader Ben Saleh is the representative of President Bouteflika at the World Summit on Nuclear Security in Seoul on Monday and Tuesday. He is accompanied by the Minister of Energy and Mines Youssef Yousfi, to discuss the best ways to face a nuclear threat from terrorists and to focus on improving the safety and security of nuclear facilities, The nuclear conflict with North Korea and Iran was not on the agenda. Fifty countries will be participating at the summit including about 40 heads of state, aiming to devolve an action plan for the objectives agreed upon in the first summit in Washington in September 2010.
