A series of explosions hit Sanaa as Arab coalition warplanes pound posts of Houthi militias and supporters of former Yemeni president Ali Abdullah Saleh.
The Arab coalition jets shelled Al Dailami air base near Sanaa International Airport.
The attack was expected after Houthi militias fired a rocket from the base.
Last Wednesday, Houthi and Saleh militias fired a scud missile from Sanaa against Saudi Arabia, but the missile was intercepted before reaching its target.
In May, Yemen's President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi left his refuge in Aden for Saudi Arabia as Houthis launched a coup against him.
Arab countries formed a coalition to defend the legitimate authority of Hadi.
