The Arab Interior Ministers Council will conduct its 29th session in Tunisia on March 14 to discuss the 21 points on its agenda. The major points include the report of the Secretary General of the Council on the work of the General Secretariat in the period between sessions 28 and 29; the report of Prince Nayef bin Abdul Aziz, the Saudi crown prince and minister of interior; and that of the chairman of the Supreme Council of Naif Arab University of Security Sciences on the works conducted by the University during the two sessions. Additionally, the ministers will discuss the annual reports on the plans of implementation, focusing particularly on the sixth Arab security plan and the Arab strategy for fighting terrorism. Minister of interior and municipalities Marwan Charbel will travel on Sunday to Tunisia, heading a delegation of Directors General of the interior security forces and a number of senior officers, to participate in the session and hold meetings with their Arab counterparts.
