Ongoing unrest in Egypt have affected the annual new year’s eve concerts schedule as many stars shun Cairo in favour of other Arab capitals. Egyptian megastar, Amr Diab will perform his New Year's Concert this year at the Ritz-Carlton hotel in Dubai International Financial Centre, where the ceremony will be opened by DJ Eric Cooper. Moreover, Habtoor resort in Dubai will host concerts for the Egyptian singer Sherine Abdel Wahab and the Iraqi singer Majid Al-Mohandes. While the Lebanese singer Nancy Ajram will be in Qatar. This is her first performance in Qatar, and the concert will include the starlet Nermin Habib and the singer Maher Jahjah. In Egypt, the Egyptian singer Mohamed Fouad decided to perform his New Year's Concert in Cairo’s Concorde El Salam Hotel, after rejecting concerts offers in Bahrain and Morocco. The concert will include the Egyptian singers Amal Maher and Mohamed Hamaki in his first concert since he married. For her part, the Lebanese singer Nicol Saba had decided to perform in Egypt like the past year, however she has chosen Sharm El-Shiekh instead of Cairo. Whereas the Egyptian singer Tamir Hossni decided to sing with Iraq’s Mohamed Salim in Bahrain International Circuit. In Lebanon stars will sparkle including singer Elissa who will perform in a big concert which includes the singer Fadl Shaker and Wael Kfouri in Habtoor Hotel, while Ragheb Alama perform in Biel. Meanwhile, Venice Hotel will host a concert by Assi El-Helani, Fares Karam and Najwa Karam. And the Iraqi singer Kazem El-Saher will perform at the Lebanon Casino, with Marwan Khouri and Yara.
