The head of Libya’s Transitional Council announced it was committed to ensure Libya would return to normal and basic services would resume following months of war against former Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi. He explained that the budget will be devised to ensure all areas of the country’s needs are met and that those more affected by the destruction of war are given priority. He also announced the creation of 50 new councils for the following week He explained that the next budget will be allocated for each local councils according to population and geographical area have been exposed to destruction or damage during the war against Gaddafi, saying that there are more than 50 local councils will be announced next week. He said that Benghazi will be the country’s economical capital and each other major city will obtain a status in accordance with its particular attributes. He denied Gaddafi supporters would be amnestied adding that pardon was a personal matter and not a political one.
