An advisory council in Egypt's Muslim Brotherhood held an urgent meeting on Saturday in the movement's headquarters at Cairo's al-Moqttam neighbourhood, where the Islamist leadership are expected to discuss how to offer aid to newly elected President Mohammed Morsi in order enable him to fulfill his pledges to find solutions for five of Egypt's mainstream problems within his first 100 days as president. The problems were identified as street cleanliness, traffic, fuel, subsided bread and security. The conference will be attended by the speaker of the recently dissolved Egyptian parliament, Saad al-Katatni, in addition to Essam al-Erian, the temporary chairman of the Brotherhood's Freedom and Justice Party, while the it will be chaired by the movement's General Guide Mohammed Badi. The Brotherhood's leading figure, former MP Saad al-Husseini said the meeting will also discuss recent political developments in Egypt after the presidential elections. Another Brotherhood figure, Dr Ali Batteekh revealed that the main issue on the table will be the Brotherhood's cooperation with Morsi.
