Clashes between Tunisian guard units and extremists in Kasserine

Official spokesman for Tunisian National Guard, Khalifa Al Shibani said that, there are clashes between guard units and an extremist group in Kasserine on Monday, without revealing any details to secure the operation confidentiality.
The National Guard units managed to arrest 4 elements and kill 2 extremists belong to “Oqba Bin Nafi” battalion last April, one of them is the leader of the battalion who is suspected to hold a foreign nationality. During this operation, the guard unites raided a house in “Shalby’s sons” neighborhood at the south entrance of Sedi Bou Ziad town where a group of extremists were hiding, and the units were able to arrest them before any gunshots fired.
