Amman – Akram Ali

Security sources in Nuweiba port have announced that the Jordanian ferry “Bella” is sinking at sea four days since it caught fire, during its trip back from Aqaba port, carrying 1230 passerngers. The ship supposedly sank without any intervention, after it was agreed to redirect it to Aqaba port for inspection.  The public prosecutor was to determine the cause of the fire. Sources added that the ship sank at a depth of 800 meters, and was completely damaged. The ferry sank about 15 miles away from  Aqaba  port and 19 miles from the port of Nuweiba
