Five militants of Daesh terrorist group surrendered along with their families after being trapped in the outskirts of eastern Deir Ezzor, sources of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) said on Saturday.
Surrendered Daesh militants included one from Tunisia and four others from Turkmenistan, Al Hurra channel reported, quoting sources as saying.
On Friday, Syrian army units in cooperation with allied forces continued operations against remnants of Daesh gatherings and fortifications in Deir Ezzor.
Operations in Deir Ezzor resulted in destroying a number of Daesh hotbeds and terrorists.
