Palestinian Gaza militants fired a Grad rocket on Sunday morning at an Israeli village some 10 km away, local residents told Xinhua. No injuries or damages were officially reported, but a local resident Kibbutz Ma'agalim said numerous shrapnel fragments from the medium-range missile shredded fabric-covered greenhouses on a farm close to the affected area. "I'm standing looking at a big hole in the ground, and police are here trying to pull (the rocket's remains) out of the ground and are telling us to clear the area," said Canadian-born Avraham Goodman, 69. "Our whole house jumped when it landed," Goodman said, adding that he, his wife Miriam, and other family members, including their dog, quickly sought shelter in a bomb-proof room in their home after a warning siren sounded shortly before the hit. Earlier in the morning, militants fired a mortar shell at an area adjoining southern Gaza, according to Israel radio. The Grad strike came after an overnight Israel Air Force (IAF) strike against what the army said were "terror concentrations" in northern Gaza, which reportedly caused no injuries or damages. The army said the IAF sortie was in response to a Kassam rocket launch on Friday that slammed into a private house in the nearby town of Sderot, at the northern edge of the Gaza Strip. This was the second time that the same house was hit by a rocket.
