Egyptian Television's official website was hacked Sunday by a group of hackers who posted a message in response to the media coverage of the recent clashes Tahrir Square, which left two dead and more than 900 wounded by Saturday evening. The message said: "This is a simple reaction to your absurdities that we have seen yesterday on TV, the same failed and hypocritical policies. First you fawn over the ousted regime, and now you fawn over the military council, we are not asking you to show a clear image, but you cannot re-direct visuals to a poetic scene on the Nile, while people were getting killed. Egyptian Television has been subjected to numerous criticisms because of its coverage of the recent Egyptian clashes in Tahrir Square between security forces and protesters, as security forces are still trying to disperse protests.
