Iraqi Foreign Minister Ibrahim Al Jaafari called on the international community to provide more support for his country to fight Daesh terrorism, now prevailing in some 90 countries.
Interviewed by Radio Sawa, Jaafari reiterated that Daesh posed a challenge, not only for Iraq, but also for the whole world.
Iraq initiated the move to defend itself and other world countries, Jaafari said, adding that Iraq was now in need of effective support from these countries.
Although Iraq has been receiving aid on the military, security and services' levels, such a support does not match the problem posed by Daesh, the Iraqi top diplomat said.
