Local sources in Aden have confirmed to Arabstoday that the province security institutions have arrested some suspicious persons following the kidnapping of the Saudi Deputy Consul in Aden, Abdullah al-Khaledi. The same sources ruled out that the kidnap is politically motivated as the first indications of the investigation suggest the incident was due to familial controversies between al-Khaledi and his Yemeni wife's family. Yemeni security forces have begun a tracking operation to reach al-Khaledi's location, insisting that the security information has confirmed he is in good health, while the security institutions will not reveal any official information about the motivations behind this operation before al-Khaledi is released.
