Jordanian King Abdullah II revealed the most prominent topics that will be discussed on the Arab summit in the twenty-eighth session to be held in Amman on 29 March. He said that the central issues that the summit will focus on, is the Palestinian cause, the Syrian crisis and the situation in Iraq and Libya, and the fight against extremism and terrorism. The summit will also discuss the crisis experienced by some Arab countries, and ways to deal with them, as well as regional and international efforts in the war on terrorism.
King Abdullah II on Sunday welcomed a delegation of the Council for Arab and International Relations and discussed a number of regional issues and ways to address the challenges.
During the meeting held at the Husseiniyah Palace, the King stressed that reinvigorating joint Arab cooperation and unifying Arab ranks at this critical stage would empower Arab countries to counter challenges, particularly in view of the global political changes.
