The Yemeni Information Minister, Dr Ahmed Obaid Bin Daghr’s house was shot at by unknown militants in Sanaa, causing no severe casualty. The Minister Bin Daghr said to official Yemeni news agency: "Militants in a car were intensively shooting the house from machine guns early Saturday morning before escaping away." He added that the shots came in air, without any causality or harm and considered it as an attempt to warn or threaten him due to his non changeable political situation. The Yemeni Information Minister is considered one of the members in the National Unity Government in Yemen from the General People's Congress (Al Motamar Al Shaby) - the party for the former and the recent president in Yemen. The Yemini Information Ministry has condemned the incident in a statement describing it as "cowardly" confirming the shallow minds of the attackers. The statement, which Arabstoday received a copy of, blamed Yemeni security authorities for failing in its responsibilities to protect the Ministry.
