The Sudanese vice president, A-Haj Adam, has called for putting new policies that organize the foreign presence in the country. The interior minister, Ibrahim Mahmoud Hamed, has revealed in press statements, that he discussed with the vice president the immigration high commission ‘s roles and specialties regarding this issue, and called for a meeting that brings up all the interested parties to further discuss the issue, and take the required decisions. Hamed said that he is working with his ministry to fight the illegal foreign presence in the county. Reports say that a large number of people in the south will be treated as foreigners, nine months after the announcement of the establishment of Southern Sudan as a state.
