Qatar's Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani on Friday held a telephone conversation with US Secretary of State John Kerry on the humanitarian situation in Syria's city of Aleppo and means for coordination thereon.
He welcomed the Turkish-Russian deal on ceasefire in Syria, the Qatar News Agency, QNA, has reported.
The Qatari minister stressed the importance of exerting serious efforts for developing a mechanism that obliges the Syrian regime to stop attacks on civilian, lift the siege on all areas in Syria and allow access of international relief agencies to the affected areas.
Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman also welcomed the US Secretary of State's proposals on the final solution to the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, stressing that these proposals are consistent with the UN resolutions and the Arab Peace Initiative.
