Former Prime Minister Saad Hariri, head of Elmostakbal Future party, held talks on Monday with the Qatari prince, Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifa II, his press office announced in a statement. The Doha talks focussed on the latest regional and international developments, especially the situation in the Arab world, as well as Lebanese-Qatari bilateral ties. Hariri had arrived in the Gulf state on Sunday, for a two-day visit where he held talks with Qatari Premier Sheikh Hamad bin Jassem II, who also welcomed him at the airport and hosted him at his home. The Qatari Premier later threw a banquet in Hariri's honour, which was also attended by his office director, Nadir Hariri, his advisor, Hani Hammoud, as well as the office director of the prime minister, Abdullah Bin Eid Sulaita. A bilateral meeting was held after the banquet, between the head of the Qatari government and Hariri, during which they discussed the latest developments in the Arab world.
