President of South Sudan, Salva Kiir Mayardit met with the Egyptian ambassador in Juba, Ahmed Adly, and after the meeting he praised the importance of Egypt role in supporting Sudan security and stability, saying that, most of the main issues in his country have been solved, but this critical phase requires farther support from the region and the international community regarding the training of the Armed Forces in order to turn the military into a professional service organization. He confirmed that, Egypt is still an important regional alliance in training and providing the army with necessary military abilities especially in air and sea forces.
On the other hand, the Egyptian ambassador said that, Cairo is still ready to support South Sudan, while Salva Kiir asked for international support for his government in implementation of Peace Agreement signed in August 2015 between him and his former deputy Riek Machar.
