Abdul Jabbar Bin Hadj, son of the second man in the dissolved party “Islamic Salvation Front” was arrested on Saturday night during a routine control at a checkpoint on suspicion of possessing weapons in his car. Ali Bin Hadj's son was put in custody by the public prosecutor in Sidi Mohamed court. A source told Arabstoday that Abdul Jabbar - known as 'Qaqaa' was stopped by the police for a routine control when weapons were found in his car. The arrest of Bin Hadj’s son is not the first one as the 23 year-old had previously been put in custody. He was accused of possessing provocative videos showing terrorist operations as well as owning forbidden weapons. Ali Bin Hadj lost another son, Abdul Kahar who joined al-Qaeda in 2006. He died in a suicide bombing attack last year in Bourmedes, 50 kilometres away from the capital.
