Security forces have advanced to liberate eastern Al Obeidi area from the terrorist Daesh group, according to a military source in Al Anbar governorate on Tuesday.
Iraqi army units from Division 7, with the help of clans, started advancement toward eastern Al Obeidi area, 350km west of Al Ramadi, the source told Al Sumariya News Channel.
The troops and clans are supported by the international coalition air force in their military operations which began Thursday to liberate western Al Anbar areas, the source added.
