The chief of the Special Tribunal for Lebanon (STL)'s Victims' Participation Unit, Alain Grellet, will answer questions in a live Twitter session on Tuesday March 12 from 1 to 3pm GMT (3 to 5pm Beirut time). The STL is one of only a few international tribunals which allow victims to participate in judicial proceedings. As the chief of the unit, Grellet oversees the efforts to engage victims, as well as administering legal aid where necessary. The session is part of an ongoing initiative by the STL to interact directly with the people of Lebanon through the STL Twitter account. Members of the public are encouraged to request sessions with other key members of the Tribunal.
