Sudan’s President Hassan Al Bashir renewed his request to the international community to lift sanctions imposed on his country, describing Sudan’s foreign relations as excellent. He also praised the efforts exerted by the Arab countries to convince the U.S Administration to lift its ban imposed on the country for years.
Bashir added, during his speech during the opening of a new power station, “A number of countries and international organizations supported the Sudanese government. They stood to lift the economic ban imposed by the U.S, including Saudi and Emirates.”
The Sudanese President added, “Brothers in Saudi, Emirates, Kuwait, Qatar, Oman, Algeria, and China in addition to other organizations, like Islamic Development Bank supported us during the siege imposed against our country.”
Bashir pledged to turn the page of thirsty in the eastern side of the country, saying that the government works currently to build a number of dams and to provide health and educational services to the citizens to meet the governmental program during the coming three years.
