The coalition of Left and National parties in Jordan, has issued a statement, warning the Jordanian government, of adopting policies that may serve "international and regional plans against Syria", as this "will impose political, economic, and social threats against the country". The statement comes on the back of media reports which speculate on the existence of "thousands of Libyans and Moroccans in Jordanian hotel preparing to sneak across the Syrian border in order to participate in the violent clashes there". On a separate note, the same coalition has assured of its participation in the Land Day's international rally, planned on March 30 to support the Palestinian cause. On the National side, the coalition has stressed keeping its positions towards the expected new elections law, which is based on devoting 50 percent of the parliamentary seats for national lists, and the other 50 percent for provincial lists, saying that this composition "is assuring a fair parliamentary representation of the society."
