A Swiss woman and her daughter disappeared from Lebanon's southern city of Khaldeh on Tuesday evening. Sources say the mother, Tina, and her 8 year old daughter, Talia, have lived in Khaldeh over a number of years and were well known in the area. One of the family's relatives told Arabstoday that the Swiss woman left her house on Tuesday evening to have dinner with her daughter at a KFC fast food branch but never came back. Because the Swiss woman's husband lives and works in Italy, the disappearance was first reported by her mother-in-law. The local police station notified the disappearance to the public prosecution office but the family says it has not heard anything yet. Tina left her passport, goods and personal belongings at home and only took enough money to have dinner with her daughter.
