The Parties of Treaty for the Peaceful Rotation of Power called on Mauritanian President, Mohamed Ould Abdel Aziz, to implement the results of the dialogue between the supporters of the president and some opposition parties. The statement of the parties of the Treaty revealed that one third of Mauritanians are living in tents, huts, 40% did not have safe drinking water, 50% were deprived of electricity, the unemployment rate was between 30 to 40% and nearly half of all Mauritanian families lived below the poverty line. The Parties of the Treaty accused the government of an undeclared election campaign that is led by military figures, saying that this will lead to losing the will to participate in an electoral process. that gone off course before its start.
