Israeli Air Force (IAF) launched several air raids, which targeted the Zeitoun neighbourhood in the eastern part of the Gaza Strip, injuring two Palestinians on Friday morning. Palestinian medical spokesperson in Gaza Adham Abu-Selmyya said that the Israeli air strikes slightly injured two Palestinians, who were transferred to a local hospital in Gaza. An Israeli spokesperson stated that Israeli air force jets fired missiles, targeting a group of Palestinian fighters Friday at dawn, claiming that the group was trying to fire rockets at Israel. Eyewitnesses told ‘Arabstoday’ that the Israeli warplanes targeted two training places belonging to Izz Al-Din Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, and completely destroyed them. Nasser Saladin Brigades, the military wing of the Popular Resistance Committees (PRC), stated on Thursday evening that the group launched a Grad rocket towards Urim in Israel for the first time in the history of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. The brigades said in a statement that they had launched two rockets earlier this morning on locations in southern Israel as an act of defiance against Israel's continuing desecration of the Al Aqsa Mosque.
