The UAE Embassy in Amman has started since the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan the implementation of the Iftar project in Jordan.
The project, which is sponsored by the UAE charity bodies, comes within the framework of relations and strong ties that link the two brotherly peoples of the UAE and Jordan.
The Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation, Emirates Red Crescent (ERC), Sharjah Charity International, and Ahmed bin Zayed Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation distribute daily thousands of meals until the end of the holy month of Ramadan to the beneficiaries, including the needy families in many regions, governorates and the camps of Palestinian and Syrians refugees in The Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
The embassy, in coordination with official authorities, associations and concerned charity centres in Jordan, oversees the implementation of the distribution of the iftar meals across the Kingdom.
At the beginning of Ramadan, the embassy distributed tens of tonnes of dates to the beneficiaries in the various governorates of the Kingdom provided by the ERC.
