Badria Abdullah Al Shihhi, Charge D'Affaires at the UAE embassy to Austria, today visited the Grand Islamic Centre in Vienna.
She was briefed by the Centre's Director, Hashim Al Mahrouqi, about the activities organized there to serve Muslims in Austria and to spread awareness about the tolerant teachings of Islam, far removed from extremism and bigotry.
Al Shihhi handed out copies of the Holy Quran to the Centre for distribution among the worshippers. She also presented the embassy's contribution to the Iftar Programme for the refugees and those stranded in Austria.
