A collision between a double-decker bus and a mobile crane in the south of Burgenland, Austria on Friday left 15 people injured, four seriously, local media reported.
The accident occurred when the vehicles, a 38-tonne crane and a commuter bus, crashed at an intersection in Grosspetersdorf at about 7 a.m. local time, for reasons yet unknown.
Five emergency doctors and 32 paramedics were on hand with nine ambulances to help the injured.
The driver of the bus, a 36-year-old, was slightly injured, while the 43-year-old driver of the crane was unhurt. Neither of the two had alcohol in their body, the police said.
Some of the injured including the bus driver are receiving treatment in hospital. Investigations into the cause of the accident are underway.
