Only 20 locations or bases remain to be handed over by the US army to the government of Iraq, the government spokesman said Monday.Ali Al-Dabbagh, in a statement to the press, said the American forces were handing over more locations for the Iraqi government in accordance with the agreement with Baghdad to pull out from the country.He said the US forces have so far evacuated 485 locations and military bases.The US forces seek to keep forces to train the Iraqi forces, but leaders of the political parties had agreed not to grant the American trainers immunity.Prime Minister Nouri Al-Maliki, in a statement on October 10, said NATO might be the option to providing trianers for the Iraqi forces.The US now has around 40,000 forces in Iraq with 500 troops leaving the country every day.
