Bangkok - Qna

At least three persons were killed and another 60 injured on Friday night in a series of bomb blasts at the Thai town of Sungai Kolok near the Malaysian borders. The first bomb went off in a motor bike, it was followed immediately with two more blast. The second one was also hidden in a motor bike and the third one was a car bomb blast which was parked in front of a restaurant, (Taiwan News) reported. It was being speculated that all these were remotely controlled devices. As a precaution to avoid any more such blasts the police ordered all the mobile service to shut down. Earlier, armed assailants entered into a mosque and killed a police officer and Defense volunteer in Yala province. So far no group or any organization has come forward to claim the responsibility of these cowardly acts.
