"The National Transition Council (NTC) and the Libyan people are grateful for the constant support lent by the Government and people of Tunisia to Libya at this critical stage," said Vice-President of the Libyan National Transition Council Abdelhafidh Ghouga. After the talk he had on Tuesday in Tunis with Caretaker Prime Minister Beji Caid Essebsi, Mr. Ghouga said he was visiting Tunisia to enquire about the state of health of the February 17 Revolution wounded who had been admitted in several Tunisian private and public hospitals. He expressed deep thanks to all those who rendered these precious services to the Libyans. Besides, he expressed hope that Tunisia's transition stage, and particularly the election of the National Constituent Assembly, will be crowned with success, in such a manner as to meet the aspirations of the Tunisian people for the establishment of the rule of law and freedom. "Libya is happy to host the Tunisian Prime Minister on Wednesday," underlined Mr. Ghouga, who also said he was in Tunisia to finalise the details of the programme of this visit.
