Exciting exhibits, cultural events and live demonstrations at the Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition, ADIHEX, attracted 36,988 visitors on the first two days.

Held under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler’s Representative in the Dhafra Region and Chairman of the Emirates Falconers Club, the five-day exhibition is the only dedicated consumer and trade event in the Middle East for hunting equipment, equestrian, outdoor and marine sports, safari, arts and antiques, since its launch in 2003.

''We expect the 15th edition to attract over 100,000 visitors,'' said Abdullah Butti Al Qaubaisi, Director of ADIHEX.

''More than 650 companies, including 68 newcomers and 163 Emirati exhibitors, from 40 countries are showcasing latest hunting, equestrian and sporting products and services in an area of over 43,000 square metres, highlighting the success of the event,'' he added.

ADIHEX has established itself as an exhibition dedicated to safeguarding, protecting and encouraging traditional Emirati values.

This high-profile event includes camel auctions, Saluki beauty contests, lure coursing demonstrations, art and photography competitions, as well as traditional hunting and equestrian activities.

It provides visitors with an opportunity to explore the authentic Emirati heritage in Abu Dhabi and learn about hunting skills and equipment, water sports, outdoor sports and equestrian activities. The event will also host camel and horse auctions, beauty contests for Arabian Salukis, and performances by K9 police dogs and horses.

The five-day show at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre is one of the world’s largest hunting expositions and offers insight into the modern desert lifestyle.
