President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said Tuesday evening that the enemies' claim that they are advocates of democracy is “a big lie.” President Ahmadinejad made the remarks in a meeting with visiting Congolese Minister of Communications and Media Lambert Mende Omalanga, adding that enemies are against holding free elections in independent states, including the Democratic Republic of Congo. The Islamic Republic of Iran and the Democratic Republic of Congo share identical views regarding bullying powers and both independent states are against expansionist policies of big powers, President Ahmadinejad noted. The two countries are in favor of administration of justice throughout the globe, he reiterated. The President further called for promotion of bilateral relations between Tehran and Brazzaville, particulalry in the areas of economy, politics and culture. The Congolese minister, for his part, said his country is interested in further expansion of all-out relations with the Islamic Republic of Iran. He also called for exchange of experiences between the two friendly countries.
