Cairo - Arab Today

The Foreign Ministers of the Arab States and Japan have affirmed their support for the establishment of an independent and viable Palestinian State within the pre-June 4, 1967 borders including East Al-Quds as its capital.

They stressed the importance to find a just, lasting and comprehensive solution to the Arab-Israeli conflict based on the Arab Peace Initiative and relevant international resolutions, in particular UN resolution 2234/2016, calling on the international community to pressurize Israel to halt its actions and activities of Judaizing the holy city of Al-Quds.

This came in the joint statement issued by the 1st session of the ministerial meeting of the Arab-Japanese political dialogue which was held at the headquarters of the General Secretariat of the Arab League, the official Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.
