Defence Affairs Minister Lieutenant-General Youssef bin Ahmed Al-Jalahma today met US Defence Secretary James Mattis, on the sidelines of the meeting of the defence ministers of countries partners of the international coalition against the so-called terrorist Daesh group.
The meeting was held today at the headquarters of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) headquarters in Brussels, Belgium.
Lt. Gen. Al-Jalahma thanked the US Defence Secretary for inviting Bahrain to take part in the meeting. The two sides reviewed bilateral relations binding the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United States of America.
They stressed steadily-growing relations in all fields, particularly military coordination and defence cooperation between the two friendly countries and ways of further bolstering joint ties.
